Here's why you should join the Top of Utah Snowmobile Association (TOUSA)
1- Parking - We all like to have a place to park when we get to the trailhead. TOUSA is working with state and federal agencies to make improvements to these parking lots.
2- Grooming - We all like to see a nice new corduroy on the trail when we get there. TOUSA is working with Utah Outdoor Recreation to make trail grooming more frequent.
3- Warming Huts - We all like to have a place to stop and warm up or relax when we are snowmobiling. TOUSA volunteers stock the warming huts every year with wood. TOUSA is working to improve, replace and maintain the warming huts throughout northern Utah.
4- Riding areas - We all like to have plenty of area to ride in. TOUSA watches for and fights against land closures. We are constantly being bombarded with efforts to close areas. Keeping these areas open is a costly venture. We either have to prevent closures or fight to have them reopened. I'd rather just keep them open.
5- There are many more reasons. Support TOUSA and the things you love to do.
TOUSA is not alone in accomplishing these tasks but we do need to be strong in our own riding areas. Utah Snowmobile Association, American Council Of Snowmobile Associations, United Snowmobile Alliance, and Blue Ribbon Coalition are all there to support us. We should support them!
